Here is a image of playing around with particles for fire. But this will be my last image for a little bit. I'm now in the weeds of content creation and I'm going to switch to monthly postings while I slog through this.
Switching from my Developer's hat to a level designer's, I'll taking all of the systems I've been messing around with and attaching them to objects, events, and making a real game out of it. When I'm done I'll have the first few levels playable and I'll be ready to go back into the code to finish more systems (like better particle effects).
